      <title>Cycle Against Suicide</title>

<div>St Bricin's College will host 250cyclists on Friday 3rd May as part of the National Campaign Cycle against Suicide.  The cyclists are on Route from Manorhamilton to Cavan town and will stop for a brief rest period and refreshments in Belturbet.  The main objective of the Cycle is to raise awareness of the considerable help and supports that are available for anyone battling depression, self harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide.  The Student Council and the Campaign Committee are working hard in preparation for the event on Friday.</div>

<div>Transition Year is a bridging year between Junior and Leaving Certificate Cycles. It will allow students to engage in a variety of Key Skills and activities which are life long learning in addition to building up a good foundation for the Leaving Certificate. Research indicates that students who follow the Programme do better on average in the Leaving Certificate Examinations.</div></div></div>

      <title>St Bricin's College Maths Student wins Irish Junior Maths Award</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<div><b>Body:</b> <div class=ExternalClassCC1F2B5C35AC4C5F95D009FA730A375E><div>Last Friday two first year students, Rowan Smith and Cara Breathnach took part in the Irish Junior Maths Competition with their teacher Miss Finnegan.  Both students reached the final stages of the competition and Cara actually placed third on the night and received an individual trophy as well as a plaque for the school.  Well done to all involved and thank you to the parents who provided transport on the night.  Photos to follow shortly.....</div></div></div>
